People always say that family is the one who will shelter you from the winds and rain outside, apparently doesn't applies to extended family members called RELATIVES!
After not having visit my grandma for several weeks, I've decided to go over to my granny's place for our usual Saturday family gathering. What I thought would be a heart warming event turns out to be a disastrous event. Everyone who saw me, will start of by asking "Have u found a job?" (not as if I'm not stressed enough without them asking. And oh please... you people have been on the phone with my mum every single day, I don't believe you do not have that piece of information). So after having answered several of them politely with the smile on the face saying "No... hehe.. I'm still looking", it looks as if everyone is taking the queue to ask the exact same question. In the end, I gave the surrender sign, telling them "please don't ask me this question anymore. I'll tell everyone when I found one". Hey come on man... do you people think I'm having fun being declined for the job?
And now what's even better, I was being told off by my mum that my aunts had all complained about my bad attitude and rudeness last Saturday. What's more... she say I'm so rude that she wants to slap my face (I dun know if that's true or my mum added this to their stories. But that's roughly what they said). Wooohh... bad attitude, rude? I merely requested for you people to spare me the agony. Did they ever put themselves in my shoes? Try being bombarded with questions and rubbing salt into your wounds... that surely feels "NICE". And what's family for? I thought they are to be understanding and one should feel free in front of them. So now I'm supposed to restrict myself on what I say in front of everyone include my own family members and relatives. So... please tell me how different are you people from people outside?
I swear I'm not going for those Saturday gatherings, at least not in the near future.
